#RealMomShit: A mom of three who crushes the mom game in a very forward thinking but relaxed sort of way.
How many kids do you have and what are their ages?
3 kids: 5yrs, 3yrs, 2yrs
Who’s the good cop and who’s the bad cop in your household?
We don’t have a good/bad cop. Come to think of it, whatever one parent says, the other follows.
Describe your parenting style in 3 words
Care-free, affectionate, fun
What’s the most embarrassing thing your child has done in public?
I’m drawing a blank…but I guess any classic tantrum is annoying…not really embarrassing…just frustrating
Be honest, how many times have your babies fallen off a piece of furniture? Or, how many times have you dropped your child?
My kids fall off of things everyday. They’re hyper and clumsy. I’ve never actually dropped one of my kids while holding them, but I’ve come very close to them falling out of my arms if they’re screaming and losing their minds. They’re like miniature Hulks!
What’s one thing you swore you would never do as a parent but do now?
I told myself to always get on their level and try to talk it out…lol…currently laughing at my previous self.
What’s the biggest lie you’ve ever told your kid?
I can’t even keep track of the lies.
What was your favourite and least favourite thing about being pregnant?
My first pregnancy was a dream. I felt energized and healthy. I really didn’t have any negative moments.
My second pregnancy was different. I started bleeding at 21 weeks and it continued until baby was born at 37.5 weeks. if I did any exercise, or even coughed too hard, I would start spotting. The doctors/midwives chalked it up as a friable cervix.
During my third pregnancy, I had some bleeding too, but this time my morning sickness was hard, and long-lasting. I took the anti-nausea pill (diclectin) from 8 weeks until the day baby was born.
Those last two pregnancies had their downfalls, but nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed getting dressed up with my belly and having people open doors for me.
